About me

I am a University of Bradford Archaeological Sciences graduate and have spent the last seven years working for Oxford Archaeology as an Illustrator, photographer and designer.
In my position as Senior Illustrator for the large archaeological excavations along the route of the new A2 motorway in Kent in 2008, I worked closely with Dana Goodburn-Brown (the conservator for the project) in her lab and on site, and was so introduced to the practice of conservation.
Here are two pages from the A2 Archaeology Popular Publication dealing with the conservation element of the Project. I was the Graphic Designer as well as Photographer and 3D recorder for the project. Company: Oxford Archaeology. Client: The Highways Agency.
While helping Dana with a presentation at a conservation conference in Cardiff I was introduced to all my supervisors, through a presentation they gave outlining this project.
I was studying for a science degree with the Open University, I am a published photographer and volunteered weekly at one of the Oxford museums, so felt that my skills and interests were very appropriate for this project.
I maintain a photography website and have published a book of my roundography
